Who the Fluff is Charlie?

Let me introduce us both.

Charlie is my creation — the unofficial mayor of CharlieOpolis and my trusted co-pilot.

He’s half me: the part that’s been through the grind of business, teaching, small wins, and faceplants.

And he’s half the wisdom I’ve collected from mentors, books, clients, colleagues, and long hours figuring things out the hard way.

Picture Charlie as your strategic guide — equal parts curious, capable, and slightly cheeky.

He’s the one offering tools, reframes, and reminders to slow down and think clearly.

He’s also a useful filter — a way to write and speak from a voice that isn’t trying to impress you, just help you make better moves.

A Bit About Me — Eddie

I started as an English teacher, where I learned the joy of helping people make big ideas click — a passion lit by learning English as a second language myself.

That fire took me through corporate training, sales, and running a few small businesses (some flopped, others taught me more than success ever could).

Eventually, I spent 15+ years in risk management for tech companies — a front-row seat to how smart people build things from scratch, make decisions under pressure, and scale what works.

Since the early 2000s, I’ve been hooked on web design — back when it was all janky HTML and dial-up speeds.

I cut my teeth on material from The Internet Marketing Center and Solo Build It!, and soaked up strategy from sharp minds like Dan Kennedy and Ken Evoy.

More recently, I co-founded a digital agency in Miami, where I still work behind the scenes on strategy and content.

With CharlieOpolis, I’m bringing together what I’ve always loved:
